After 90 years since its founding, and 30 years since its rebirth in 2023, the Dr. Feather Clinic is heading into the future with clear visions that are already beginning to be realized.
The owners of the Dr. Feather Clinic have decided to invest in the latest technologies in surgery and orthopaedics, to open an imaging pavilion with magnetic resonance imaging, etc.
TRAINING AND EDUCATION
Education is systematically supported by training at European institutes, so that the doctors and other medical staff of the Clinic are prepared for the future of modern healthcare.
INVESTING IN THE FUTURE
The Clinic's development programme is based on investments in modern technologies.
The new magnetic resonance imaging workplace will ensure a significant shortening and refinement of the diagnosis of patients with orthopaedic and neurological problems.
Doctors will plan 3D surgical procedures, and are also preparing for robotic surgery in orthopaedics, which will place Klinika Dr. Pírka among the European centres using this cutting-edge American technology in joint surgery.
But it does not end with the new imaging pavilion.
The Dr. Pírka Clinic has other visions, such as the project of a rehabilitation inpatient aftercare unit, and other projects.

BASIC PILLARS FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF THE KLINIKA DR. PÍRKA
MODERN TECHNOLOGIES
The Imaging Methods Pavilion - a new magnetic resonance imaging facility is a significant investment in the future of the Dr. Pírka Clinic. The state-of-the-art facility is essential for examinations in the fields of orthopaedics, surgery, neurology, mammology and urology. It will enable the planning of 3D operations.
Robotic operations - implantation of artificial joints. As the first clinic in the Czech Republic, the Dr. Pírka Clinic is preparing the technical conditions for the introduction of robotic surgeries, while intensive training of doctors at the international level is underway.
HERNIA centre of European quality - surgery. Introduction of new surgical procedures (hernias), with new technical equipment (cooperation with IRCAD).
Surgery for breast disease - based on quality MRI diagnosis (limiting other negative effects).
Proctosurgical procedures - less invasive (laser, HAL)
Diabetic retinopathy - diabetology. Equipped with AI technologies, early diagnosis and prevention of visual impairment.
Gastroenterology - latest endoscopes and technology to improve patient safety and comfort.

Continuous support and comprehensive training at European and world level (IRCAD University , IBRA - Switzerland, Zimmer Biomed - USA,...)
COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH SERVICES
The clinic constantly supports modern medical procedures, allowing to treat selected cases in day surgery. It introduces new technologies and prepares to build a new tract of day surgery.
